One of the greatest sources of pain and brokenness in our communities is poverty.
Poverty decreases a child’s chances of graduating from high school and increases her chances of becoming a poor adult. It makes him more likely to suffer illnesses, behavioral and emotional problems, and get caught in the criminal justice system because of risky behaviors. In the Ocoee Region alone there are more than 10k kids living in poverty.
These are the kids who need us most! By helping them become productive, caring, responsible citizens, we are building strong children and transforming communities.
