My family and I have been making monthly donations to at-risk children for nearly 20 years—and to multiple organizations—but I can say without any reservation that I’ve never been more proud of my small monthly gift. The work that is being done via BGCOcoee is truly world-class.
My goal is to see that success is within the reach of every child in the state of Tennessee. Through this and other BGCOcoee programs, I can be a hero for children throughout our region, helping them achieve academic success, healthy lifestyles, and develop strong character.
I’m proud to say that over the years I’ve been able to make many donations to Boys & Girls Clubs of the Ocoee Region. But more importantly, I want to be known for treating others right and proper, honestly, and with respect! The Everyday Heroes program is a way to do just that!
In a Harris Interactive survey, 54% of Boys & Girls Club alumni said the Club “saved my life.”

Academic Enrichment:
Instead of a wall of illiteracy, our Clubs work to help all Club members graduate from high school on time, ready for a post-secondary education and a 21st-century career.
Character & Leadership Development:
Instead of a wall of substance abuse, neglect, and delinquency, we’re helping at-risk youth become caring, responsible, citizens through programs such as Keystone and Youth of the Year.
Health & Life Skills:
Instead of a wall of hunger, malnutrition, and repeated failure, we teach students to engage in positive habits and behaviors, set personal goals, and grow into successful, healthy, self-sufficient adults.
By becoming an Everyday Hero, you are helping ensure that these at-risk children are finding open doors instead of running into walls … doors which can lead to a Great Future.
